The Letter

A letter written by Brian Clough shortly after suffering his devastating knee injury is still a treasured possession, nearly 60 years on.

In this episode, Sam Moore from Middlesbrough talks about the background to the letter sent to her late father Trevor.

She also explains plans to feature the letter in a forthcoming musical production celebrating her Dad's life.

Also in this episode, author Rich Fisher recalls joining Cloughie on the pitch at his final home league match as a manager.

Rich was part of the small team which raised the money for Nottingham's Clough statue. He tells the story behind 'Clough Aid' - the music event which helped the fund smash its target.

The pod is hosted by Marcus Alton, the editor of the non profit tribute website, brianclough.com.
