Magic Maverick (part two)

In the second part of this entertaining interview, Terry Curran tells more fascinating stories about the Master Manager.

Terry was one of Brian's early signings at Nottingham Forest. In this frank and humour-filled conversation with Clough author Marcus Alton, Terry describes how he's still proud to have played for Brian - even though the ending was not how he'd planned it.

The former winger recalls how he stormed out of Clough's office, slamming the door so hard that it fell off its hinges!

Terry still regards Cloughie as the greatest ever manager and ends the pod with a special message for 'The Gaffer.'

Terry's latest book 'Gimme The Ball' is a follow-up to 'Regrets of a Football Maverick' and can be purchased by emailing jbrinders@yahoo.co.uk.

I'm the editor of the tribute website brianclough.com and author of several books about the Miracle Manager. I was also the driving force behind the campaign for a bronze statue of Brian Clough in Nottingham and spearheaded the efforts to get a knighthood, presenting a petition at 10 Downing Street.
